Such a beautiful place with a special spirit. This temple has an amazing history to be discovered when you come do the tour. The missionaries serving here are so knowledgeable and love to teach you about everything you have to learn about this place and their testimony of Jesus Christ and his church. I highly recommend stopping by. Free tours!

Free tours of this building are available. One can enter the temple freely and learn about its construction and the gatherings that still take place here. It's a fabulous part of U.S. history and religious history. Great miracles took place in this building.
Drew Kenyon
Such an amazing place to feel the spirit as the guides taught us about the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sitting in the same room the Savior appeared in as well as 3 heavenly messengers restoring the keys of crucial ordinances for eternal families was an incredible experience. I hope everyone gets a chance to visit ♥️

The tour guide did a great job in explaining the uses of the different rooms and the architecture. We particularly enjoyed the end of the tour. The group sat in a pew, our daughter played the piano and the group sang a church hymn. If only life was always this peaceful.

This first temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a sacred, holy place. My soul was touched to see the beautiful pioneer craftsmanship and recognize the many sacrifices it required the members to make to build it. It was amazing! The grounds are beautiful with a variety of trees and flowers.
