The Kirtland Temple Tour

The centerpiece of every visit. Missionaries take groups of up to 25 visitors from the Kirtland Temple Visitors’ Center through all three floors of the temple. The tour lasts about 60 minutes.

The Visitors' Center Exhibits

Browse at your own pace. Historical photographs, maps, the original temple finial, and sacred artwork by Walter Rane and Gary Ernest Smith are all on display.

The North Cemetery

Just across Maple Street, this historic cemetery holds the graves of Jerusha Barden Smith, Mary Duty Smith (Joseph Smith’s grandmother), John Johnson, and others whose names you’ll recognize from Church history.
